Eduard 1:32 painting masks for the F2A Buffalo for the canopy glazing and the wheels. It is not a model but an accessory for that fighter; the model itself is obtained separately.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely shaped Eduard painting masks in 1:32 scale, intended for a model of the American Brewster F2A Buffalo fighter. The masks are cut from kabuki tape and serve to mask the glazing of the pilot's cockpit and usually the tires as well while spraying. It is neither a kit nor a finished model but an accessory for painting; the aircraft model itself is not included and is obtained separately.
The Brewster F2A Buffalo was an American single-seat fighter from the late 1930s, one of the first carrier-based monoplanes with an all-metal structure and retractable landing gear. It was deployed at the start of the Second World War in the Pacific and in Europe, and it achieved notable success above all with the Finnish Air Force, where it ranked among the machines its pilots favored.
Transfer the masks carefully from the sheet onto clean glazing and press them firmly into the frames, so that no paint runs under the edges. Kabuki tape shapes well even over the rounded surfaces of a canopy. Spray thinned paint in thin coats and peel the masks off while the paint is still fresh, so that the finish is not torn away at an edge.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model. The model itself, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
