This product is a pre-cut die-cut masking set from HGW intended for a plastic model of the American carrier fighter Vought F4U-1A Corsair in 1:32 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a set of self-adhesive masks that let you mask the canopy from the outside and the inside and get a clean spray on the frames.
The masks follow the shape of the glazing frames exactly. Thanks to masks for both sides of the clear part, the frames can be sprayed from the inside in the interior color and from the outside in the airframe color, so that they have the right shade from both points of view. They save the laborious and inexact cutting of tape.
The masks are lifted off the sheet, transferred with tweezers onto the appropriate side of the glazing and pressed carefully into the corners of the frames. The inner side is usually dealt with first and the outer one after assembly. Any remaining areas are filled with tape or masking fluid, and then the spraying is done.
This is an accessory, not the model itself. The kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
