Eduard 1:32 Fw 190F-8 engine is a photo-etched detail set from Eduard for refining the powerplant of the German Fw 190F-8 fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This photo-etched set from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:32 scale adds fine metal details to the engine area of the Fw 190F-8 fighter and ground-attack aircraft. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for a kit. The photo-etched parts complete the simplified plastic features of the powerplant and raise the fidelity, above all on a build with the engine cowlings off.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was a German single-engine fighter of the Second World War. The F-8 version was meant for attacks on ground targets and was powered by a BMW 801 radial engine. An engine bay rendered in detail is among the impressive features on models at a large scale, and it can be presented with the cowling swung open.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp blade and make the bends in a bending tool. Glue the metal with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and coat it with a primer for metal before painting. Match the shades to the real powerplant and try the assembly dry beforehand.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
