A resin modeling figure in 1:32 from the second line of crew figures of the German Gotha bomber. This is a separate accessory, not a model of an aircraft. In a scene or a diorama it will serve to bring a static model to life and to compare the real size of the machine. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue and paints are not part of the package.
The heavy twin-engine Gotha bombers had a multi-member crew divided among several open stations. Each of the airmen was equipped against the cold and the airflow with a leather coverall or coat, a leather helmet, goggles and gloves. The second line of figures completes the first set so that a whole crew in various poses can be put together at a model.
Wash the casting in lukewarm water with detergent, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and sand the surfaces down, protecting your airways as you do so. Super glue (cyanoacrylate) will secure the joining. Once the primer has been sprayed, build the paint up in thin layers; paint the leather parts with a darker base layer and gradually lighten the edges. A wash or oil paints will emphasize the folds, and a matte coat at the end evens the surface out.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
