A set of fabric seat belts, 1:32 Hansa Brandenburg W.29, with photo-etched fittings for a faithful cockpit of the German floatplane fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of seat belts of fabric with photo-etched brass fittings for a faithful rendering of the cockpit of the Hansa Brandenburg W.29 floatplane in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model but an accessory — supple fabric seat belts read more realistically in the cockpit than plastic castings.
The Hansa Brandenburg W.29 was a German monoplane floatplane fighter of the First World War, used by naval aviation to patrol over the North Sea. Its low-set wing gave it a good view and it was a feared opponent of Allied floatplanes and flying boats.
Cut the belts out, pull them through the photo-etched buckles and fix them with a small amount of cyanoacrylate glue. The fabric is shaped over an edge, so the belts blend faithfully with the seat. Painting is as a rule not necessary.
This is a detail accessory, not a model on its own. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
