HGW 1:32 Hansa-Brandenburg W.29 – masks is a set of self-adhesive masking films for precise masking of the glazing and the markings of a model of the German floatplane Hansa-Brandenburg W.29.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive HGW masks in 1:32 scale intended for a model of the German floatplane fighter Hansa-Brandenburg W.29 of the First World War period. The masks make masking the glazing and the surfaces more accurate when spraying paints. It is an aftermarket accessory; the model itself is not included in the package.
The Hansa-Brandenburg W.29 was a German monoplane floatplane fighter of the end of the First World War, designed by Ernst Heinkel. It was deployed with German naval aviation for coastal defense and for attacks on enemy ships and aircraft.
The masks are cut from a thin adhesive film and copy the shapes that have to be masked exactly. They are stuck on, sprayed over and once dry they are lifted off, so a sharp transition arises with no paint creeping under. Apply them to a clean, degreased surface and lay the paint on in several thin coats.
The accessory is supplied on its own. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
