This is a photo-etched detail set from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:32 scale. It holds the seat belts of the Heinkel He 219 Uhu night fighter. It is not an airplane model but an accessory, which will replace the simplified plastic belts and bring the cabin interior to life.
The Heinkel He 219 Uhu was a German twin-engine night fighter of the Second World War with nose landing gear and a crew of two. It excelled in performance and armament and was among the technically advanced machines of its category. A detailed cockpit with belts is a striking feature on large models.
The photo-etched parts are separated from the fret, formed with tweezers and glued with super glue. The belts are painted, the buckles picked out and the harness arranged loosely over the seats. The accessory is fitted before the cabin is closed up.
This is a photo-etched accessory for refining a model, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
