The photo-etched set LVG C.VI Radiator in 1:32 scale from HGW brings brass parts for a faithful rendering of the radiator of this German reconnaissance aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is NOT an airplane model but a brass photo-etched set in 1:32 scale aimed at the radiator. It holds fine metal parts for a detailed rendering of the radiator of the German two-seat reconnaissance aircraft LVG C.VI. Photo-etch captures the fine structure of the cooling fins and the grille faithfully, which cannot be cast in plastic.
The LVG C.VI was a German two-seat reconnaissance and observation biplane of 1918. It was powered by a water-cooled inline engine, to which a prominent nose radiator belonged. The aircraft proved itself through its reliability and good handling and it served to the end of the First World War.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and make the fine bends over the scored lines. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. The cooling grille comes out well once painted in metallic shades and brought out lightly with a wash.
This is an accessory for raising the level of detail of a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
