The photo-etched HGW 1:32 LVG C.VI - Super Detail Set is an extensive set of fine metal parts that lifts a large-scale model of the German reconnaissance biplane with details unattainable in plastic. It is not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an extensive photo-etched detail accessory, not a model of the airplane. It is intended for a large-scale model of the German two-seat reconnaissance biplane the LVG C.VI of the First World War in 1:32 scale. The set brings fine metal parts for bringing out both the cockpit and the airframe that injection-molded plastic cannot manage.
The LVG C.VI was a German two-seat armed reconnaissance and observation biplane of the end of the First World War. Its crew consisted of a pilot and an observer-gunner, and an inline six provided the power. The machine was widely deployed on the Western Front for reconnaissance, directing artillery and light bombing.
The photo-etched parts are of thin sheet, brass or steel, on a common fret. Cut the individual parts off with a sharp knife on a hard surface and bend the folds exactly along the marked lines, best of all in a bending tool or on a straight blade. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate); on larger surfaces a two-part epoxy can be used for a longer time to position the part. Degrease the flat sheet before painting and apply a thin layer of primer, so that the fine relief stays sharp.
This is not a complete model of the airplane. The set does not contain glue, paints or a kit; it serves as a detail accessory to a base model.
