HGW 1:32 Messerschmitt Bf 109E-3/E-4/E-7 masks are precisely cut painting masks for a clean paint job on the glazing and the wheels of a German Bf 109E fighter model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of painting masks from the company HGW, not a kit. It is meant for plastic models of the Messerschmitt Bf 109E fighter in the E-3, E-4 and E-7 versions in 1:32 scale. The pre-cut masks follow the angular frames of the characteristic canopy of the Emil and serve for painting the cockpit quickly and exactly as well as masking the wheels.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109E, nicknamed Emil, was the main German fighter in the opening years of the Second World War, the Battle of Britain included. The E-3, E-4 and E-7 versions differed mainly in armament, armor and the ability to carry a drop tank or a bomb; the E-7 received a universal rack under the fuselage.
Peel the mask off, lay it on the glass and press it down along the frames. Spray the interior color of the cockpit first and the upper camouflage once it has dried. The masks come off cleanly. The large 1:32 scale puts the emphasis on crisp, straight edges of the frames, which a mask delivers better than strips laid by hand.
The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
