This is not a kit but an accessory for building the North American B-25H Mitchell bomber in 1:32 scale. The TFace designation sets this set apart from the basic variant: besides templates for the outer side of the glazing it also contains counterparts for its inner side. The cabin frames can thus be sprayed from both sides, which at a large scale markedly changes the final impression, because through the clear parts the inner edge of the frame is visible when you look into the cabin. The particular number of templates is stated on the box.
The B-25H was the attack version of the twin-engine North American B-25 Mitchell medium bomber from the Second World War period, with strengthened gun armament in the nose and a single-pilot cockpit. A model in 1:32 scale offers an extensive glazed nose and a roomy cabin, so the inner side of the glazing is not a detail that can be skimped on. It is for exactly this case that the TFace form is intended.
Work in stages: first stick the inner templates on, spray the interior shade of the frames, let it dry and only then deal with the outer side. Degrease the clear parts beforehand, press the templates down with a toothpick and apply the paint in thin coats. With double masking it is even more important to keep to the order and to let each coat cure properly, otherwise the outer paint will peel away when the inner mask is removed. Remove adhesive residue on a clear part with a dry cloth, not with solvent.
This is an accessory for a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
