A sheet 1:32 with four foreign operators of the Bronco observation aircraft, from Indonesia through the Philippines to Venezuela.
Responsibility details are not available.
The twin-boom observation and light attack aircraft was created for the US Marine Corps but quickly found buyers abroad as well. Its strengths were a short takeoff from field strips, a good view from the glazed cabin and the ability to carry light armament and stretchers. It was precisely these qualities that made it a favorite machine of smaller air arms, which needed a single type for reconnaissance, fire control and attacks on ground targets alike.
The set offers as many as four different operators. The Indonesian version F flew with the 21st air squadron, the American variant A served with the naval weapons evaluation facility at Albuquerque in the early 1980s, the Philippine version C belonged to the 16th Attack Squadron of the 15th Strike Wing and was captured in 2005, and finally the Venezuelan version E flew with the 40th Squadron in the mid-1980s. Three of the four machines carried an overall dark green finish with a light gray underside according to the American shade standard. The remaining American example was painted green all over without a distinguished lower surface, which is typical of test machines and at the same time makes painting easier for the builder.
The artwork is printed together and is separated with a sharp knife. Water releases the film from the paper within a few dozen seconds, after which the element is moved onto the model and the excess liquid is pressed out from under it. The set contains decals only; plastic parts and paints are not part of the package.
