This set from the Czech maker Eduard holds photo-etched parts of thin sheet for detailing the outer surface of the P-40K Warhawk fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane kit but an accessory for the base plastic model.
The photo-etched parts refine the outer features of the airframe simplified in injection-molded plastic. Typically these are access panels, closures, grilles, stiffeners and other small exterior details, through which a model gains sharpness true to scale.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade on a hard surface, form the bends over a metal bending tool and fix them with super glue or epoxy. Degrease the sheet before gluing and work with tweezers. Paint the fitted parts to match their surroundings.
This is an add-on set, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
