A sheet of wet transfers in 1:32 scale issued under the theme P-47D over New Guinea, Part Four. The Republic P-47D Thunderbolt was one of the most rugged fighters of the Second World War and in the Pacific it served in conditions that soon showed on the airframes. How many options the sheet offers and which particular machines they belong to is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The surface must be smooth and glossy, otherwise matte edges will show around the element. Cut the element out with some film around it, soak it as the manufacturer's instructions say and move it into place; while it is wet it can still be slid around. Use a softener only as the manufacturer's instructions say and always test it first, because every range takes a different strength. Finally let the area dry thoroughly and varnish it according to the level of gloss the finished model is meant to have.
For modelers who build the P-47D in a large scale and want to put the markings of this theme on the model. Working with large elements is rewarding in 1:32 scale, because they both hold well and settle well. The model, paints, varnish and softener are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
