A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive HGW masks in 1:32 scale intended for a model of the American fighter aircraft North American P-51D Mustang. The masks make masking the canopy glazing and other areas faster and more accurate when spraying paints. It is an aftermarket accessory; the model itself is not included in the package.
The P-51D Mustang was an American fighter aircraft of the Second World War with a bubble canopy and a long range, which became famous as a bomber escort fighter. It was powered by a V12 engine and it ranked among the most successful fighters of its time.
The masks are cut from a thin adhesive film and copy the shape of the canopy frames exactly. They are stuck onto the glazing, the frames are sprayed over and once dry they are lifted off, so a sharp transition arises with no paint creeping under. Apply them to a clean, degreased surface and lay the paint on in several thin coats.
The accessory is supplied on its own. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
