Techmod 1:32 Polish National Insignias is a sheet of waterslide decals with Polish aircraft national insignia, the so-called checkerboards, for aircraft models in 1:32.
Responsibility details are not available.
This sheet of waterslide decals from the Polish manufacturer Techmod holds Polish aircraft national insignia in 1:32. It is not a kit or a model but an accessory: you use the insignia on a model of a Polish Air Force aircraft, on a conversion into Polish colors, or as a replacement for decals that a kit lacks or that are damaged or yellowed.
The Polish aircraft national insignia has the shape of a square divided into four fields in alternating white and red with a border. It is carried on the fuselage, on the wings and, depending on the type, on the vertical tail surface as well. The insignia are printed on a thin carrier film, so once dry and given a clear coat they merge with the surface of the model almost completely.
Apply the decals exclusively onto a gloss coat that is perfectly dry; on a matte surface the so-called silvering appears, that is a white haze under the film. Cut the insignia out as close to the edge as possible, immerse it for a few seconds in lukewarm water, let it rest on a paper towel and slide it onto a spot dampened in advance. Tune the position with a soft brush and draw the surplus water off. A decal softener will help settle the insignia over rivets and engraved lines. At the end give the whole model a matte or semi-gloss coat.
This is a separate accessory. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
