HGW – a photo-etched interior set for the Roland C.II in 1:32 scale. Brass photo-etched parts for a faithful fitting out of the cockpit of the German reconnaissance aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
An aftermarket set of brass photo-etched parts from HGW intended for detailing the interior of the plastic model of the German two-seat aircraft L.F.G. Roland C.II in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model but an accessory that replaces and completes the elements of the cockpit – the instrument panel, the seats, the belts, the control rods and the internal frame structure.
The Roland C.II, nicknamed the Walfisch, meaning whale, for its bulky aerodynamic fuselage, was a German two-seat reconnaissance and escort aircraft of the First World War. It was powered by the Mercedes D.III inline six. For its time it stood out for good performance and clean lines.
Separate the photo-etched parts from the fret, bend them along the scored lines and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. It is best to paint the elements of the cockpit before the final assembly.
The aircraft kit itself is not included in the package. Glue, paints and tools are not enclosed.
