A detail set of fabric seat belts in 1:32 scale from HGW, intended for a model of the German fighter Roland D.VIa. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for the cockpit: the belts are made of real microfiber and completed by photo-etched buckles, which makes them read more faithfully than belts molded in plastic. The fabric parts are toned and stand up to ordinary non-aggressive modeling products.
The Roland D.VIa was a German single-seat fighter of the First World War period from the LFG Roland company. It was marked by a monocoque fuselage of plywood strips, the Klinkerrumpf, and it served alongside the more widespread Fokker and Albatros types. The set of belts will raise the realism of the cockpit of this aircraft.
Separate the belts from the sheet, pull them through the photo-etched buckles and arrange them into the seat or draped loosely over the edge of the cockpit – the fabric can be shaped and fixed. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. You will manage the color finishing with shades taken from period references.
This is a supplementary detail set, not an airplane model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
