HGW 1:32 Sopwith Snipe - Early are fabric seat belts for a model of the British fighter biplane of the First World War, the early version. It is not a kit but a detail accessory for the cockpit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of HGW seat belts in 1:32 scale intended for detailing the interior of a model of the British fighter biplane Sopwith Snipe in its early version. The straps are laser cut from printed microtextile imitating real cloth and they are completed by fine photo-etched metal buckles. It is an accessory, not an airplane model - this set does not hold the kit itself.
The Sopwith Snipe was a British single-seat fighter biplane that appeared at the end of the First World War as the successor to the successful Sopwith Camel. It was marked by its rotary engine and good agility. The designation Early refers to the early production form of the machine. The open cockpit with its seat belts is a rewarding element for detailing a large model.
The fabric straps are kneaded between the fingers before installation so that they take on natural folds. The metal buckles are threaded through and fixed with cyanoacrylate glue. The belts stand up to ordinary non-aggressive modeling products, so they can be toned with filters and lightly weathered. You can leave them draping loosely or buckled over the seat.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. The aircraft kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
