Eduard Tempest Mk.II masks 1:32 is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set for a model of the British Tempest Mk.II fighter. It gives crisp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage. It is not a model but a masking aid.
Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:32 scale is intended for a plastic model of the British Hawker Tempest Mk.II fighter. It is neither a kit nor a model in its own right, but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want crisp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage areas without tediously cutting tape by hand.
The Hawker Tempest Mk.II is a British fighter from the end of the Second World War. Unlike the version with the liquid-cooled H-block engine, the Mk.II was given a powerful Bristol Centaurus radial engine, which gave it a cleanly rounded nose. The Tempest was among the fastest piston fighters of its day at low altitude and excelled as an attack and interceptor machine.
Degrease the glazing of the bubble canopy and let it dry. Lift the masks off the backing and lay them on the frame of the windscreen and the sliding section, pressing them into the edges. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats. The masks for the wheels separate the tire from the disc. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at a shallow angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
