1:32 USAF F-2A spill trailer

Aires/Aerobonus 1:32, the USAF F-2A service trailer

A resin set of airfield ground equipment in 1:32 scale from the Aerobonus (Aires) brand. It represents the American F-2A service trailer used on USAF airfield aprons. It is not an aircraft model but a ground handling accessory that brings the scene around a parked aircraft to life.

What the set is and what it is for

The set holds resin parts for building the trailer, which will complete dioramas and display bases with aircraft models in 1:32 scale. It adds to the realism by showing the typical ground hardware an aircraft met on the apron in everyday operation and servicing.

Building and painting tips

First wash the parts free of mold release agent residue, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Protect your airways when sanding resin. Spray the model with a primer and paint it with an airbrush; a working look is brought out with washes, chips and fine stains of operating fluids.

Who the set is for

• Builders of aircraft dioramas and scenes in 1:32 scale
• Modelers who want to add ground handling to an aircraft
• Those with experience of building resin sets
• Collectors of airfield ground equipment

This is a resin accessory set for more advanced modelers. Paints, glue and an aircraft model are not included in the package.
