Textile cockpit seat belts from HGW for the Yakovlev Yak-3 in 1:32 scale, of microtextile with etched buckles. It is not a model but a detail accessory for the interior.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of realistic cockpit seat belts for models of the Soviet Yakovlev Yak-3 fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but a detail accessory from the Czech maker HGW. The belts are of fine microtextile with etched metal buckles and faithfully imitate fabric straps with their natural sag.
The Yak-3 was a light and agile Soviet fighter of the end of the Second World War. Thanks to its low weight and clean aerodynamic shapes it stood out for exceptional handling and performance at low and medium altitude, where it was among the most dangerous opponents. Experienced front-line pilots in particular took to it.
Shorten the microtextile straps to the length you need, crumple the fabric lightly and smooth it out again for a realistic shape. Thread them through the etched buckles and glue them to the seat with PVA glue (white glue). Do not use cyanoacrylate, which could harden or mark the textile. The belts are toned and resistant to ordinary products, so they take a discreet weathering.
The accessory does not include the model itself, glue or paints. It is meant for completing an existing kit.
