A kit of plastic bricks that are joined by clicking them into place. You need no glue, no paints and no tools — the pieces are colored in production and the model grows step by step following the instructions. The 1:35 scale matches the usual size of vehicle models, so the finished car can be displayed alongside other kits in the same scale or among conventional plastic models.
The Citroën Traction Avant is among the most significant cars of the 1930s. With it the marque brought into series production in 1934 a combination of solutions that were far from taken for granted at the time: a unitary all-steel body with no separate frame, front-wheel drive and independent suspension. The car therefore sat low, had a roomy interior and handled outstandingly for its day. The 7C version is one of the first links in the range; further versions followed in turn, differing in wheelbase, bodywork and engine. The Traction Avant was built for many years and became one of the most recognizable French cars of all.
Sort the pieces into bowls by size and color before you build and you will save most of your time. Go through the instructions step by step and do not skip layers — on a brick-built body a mistake shows up only several steps later and is hard to track down. Stand the finished model out of direct sunlight so that the colored plastic does not fade over time, and dust it with a soft brush.
The kit is assembled from plastic bricks that click into place. Glue and paints are not needed and are not included in the package.
