Responsibility details are not available.
This is a modeling accessory, not a model in its own right. The set holds individual track links cast in white metal, which are assembled into a working track by joining them with the enclosed wire that serves as pins. Metal tracks replace the plastic or vinyl tracks from an ordinary kit, they have a realistic weight and a faithful sag over the road wheels.
The Archer was a British tank destroyer of the Second World War. It came about by mounting the powerful 17-pounder anti-tank gun on the proven chassis of the Valentine infantry tank, with the gun barrel pointing backwards over the rear of the vehicle. The tracks are common in design to the family of vehicles on the Valentine chassis.
Before assembly the links are cleaned of casting remains, joined with the enclosed wire and can be left to sag slightly for a realistic look. It is worth treating the metal with a primer for metal before painting; the tracks are then painted and weathered with washes and pigments for mud and dust effects.
This is an accessory for modelers, not a model in its own right. It does not hold the vehicle, glue or paints.
