Turned replacement armament barrels for a model of the French AML light armored car in 1:35 scale: two 7.62 mm machine gun barrels and a 90 mm barrel.
Responsibility details are not available.
The AML is a French light armored car with all-wheel drive, built for reconnaissance and patrol duty. It is small, light and fast across country, it carries its armament in a rotating turret, and it is precisely by the turret that the individual releases differ from one another: some carry a smaller-caliber weapon with a machine gun, others a 90 mm gun. The vehicle entered service with a number of countries and served in widely differing conditions.
Replacement armament barrels for a model of the AML in 1:35 scale, according to the name two 7.62 mm machine gun barrels and a 90 mm barrel. These are turned metal parts. Such a part is straight along its whole length and has no longitudinal seam of the kind that comes from cementing two plastic halves together, so the tedious sanding and reshaping of the muzzle is done away with. Which release of the turret the barrels suit and how they are fitted is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Try the part dry before gluing and, if need be, carefully adjust its seating in the turret so that the barrel sits on the axis and level. It is attached with cyanoacrylate glue; ordinary cement for plastic models has no effect on this material. Before painting, wash and degrease the parts and give them a coat of primer, otherwise the paint will not hold on the smooth surface. Thin machine gun barrels bend easily during handling, so fit them at the end of the build.
The vehicle kit, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
