The BMD-4M is a modern Russian airborne fighting vehicle designed for airborne troops. It combines strong armament with low weight, so it is air-transportable and can be dropped by parachute. The turret carries a combination of cannon and guided missiles and gives the vehicle firepower unusual for its category. The BMD-4M is also amphibious and is one of the best-armed vehicles in its weight class.
On a tracked vehicle, assemble and paint the running gear and the individual track links first and only then close the hull. Paint the complex turret in subassemblies. Bring the base camouflage to life with tonal modulation, emphasize the technical areas with a wash and add dust pigments to the lower hull. An airbrush and liquid cement for plastic are recommended, with cyanoacrylate for the photo-etched parts.
