This injection-molded plastic kit from the maker Riich Models represents the British anti-tank gun of 57 mm caliber (the 6-pounder) in 1:35 scale and contains crew figures as well. The model offers finely worked parts of the gun, ammunition items and a crew of four, thanks to which a small artillery scene can be created without further accessories.
The British quick-firing 6-pounder gun of 57 mm caliber was the main British anti-tank gun in the middle phase of the Second World War. It was produced from 1941 to 1945 and replaced the weaker 2-pounder gun. It proved itself against the tanks of the day and was widely used by infantry units.
Paint the gun and the figures separately; put the small parts of the carriage together carefully. Brush painting and shading suit the figures, and you will bring the gun to life with a wash and light dust effects from pigments. A colored base coat (primer) for plastic is worth using.
The model and the figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
