The real subject

The Chevrolet C15TA is a Canadian armored truck of the Second World War. It was built on the chassis of a light Canadian military truck and was given a closed armored box with drive to both axles. It served mainly to carry troops, ammunition and the wounded within range of fire, that is for tasks for which an ordinary truck was too vulnerable. The vehicles were built in tens of thousands, remained in service with a number of armies after the war and are a rewarding subject for dioramas, because they turned up everywhere the Allied units advanced.
