This is an injection-molded plastic kit of the main battle tank CM-11 Brave Tiger in the configuration with add-on reactive armor, in 1:35 scale from Takom. The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The reactive armor consists of blocks of add-on protection mounted on the turret and the hull, which raise resistance to shaped-charge rounds.
The CM-11 Brave Tiger is the main battle tank of Taiwan, combining a turret of the M48 family with a hull in the spirit of the M60 and an upgraded fire control system. Its armament is a 105 mm gun. The configuration with reactive armor matches the upgrades that raised the passive protection of the vehicle.
Use liquid cement for plastic, clean up the joints and sand the seams. Seat and align the blocks of reactive armor carefully. We recommend a primer, spraying with an airbrush and patina with washes and pigments for mud and dust effects. Deal with the running gear before closing up the hull.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
