The CM-34 belongs to the family of Taiwanese armored vehicles known under the name Clouded Leopard, developed for the armed forces of the Republic of China. It is an eight-wheeled infantry fighting vehicle with a turret armed with a 30 mm automatic cannon, intended to carry a dismount section and to give it fire support. The abbreviation TICV denotes the role of an infantry fighting vehicle of the Taiwanese army; the type entered service in the late 2010s and is among the most modern equipment on the island.
With a wheeled vehicle it pays to assemble and paint the chassis with the wheels before you finally close up the hull - later it is hard to reach. After the base coat, washes help to bring out the engraved details and the panel lines; dust pigments on the wheels and the lower hull will give the vehicle an in-service look. Paint the tire treads a matte rubber black.
