This precisely turned metal gun barrel replaces the plastic barrel in the base model. It offers a tube true to its axis with the correct taper and a clean muzzle with no mold seams. It is a detail accessory, not a tank kit. Made by Aber, 1:35 scale.
The 5 cm KwK 38 L/42 was the tank gun that armed the early versions of the German Pz.Kpfw. III medium tank (Ausf. G, H and the early J). The shorter L/42 barrel was later replaced by the longer and more powerful L/60 gun. A precise muzzle and a straight tube are the key to a faithful look for the turret.
This is an accessory (a metal gun barrel), not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
