Responsibility details are not available.
This is a turned metal barrel in 1:35 scale from the Polish manufacturer Aber. It replaces the plastic barrel of the 50 mm KwK 39 L/60 gun on models of the German medium tank Pz.Kpfw. III in the Ausf. J late, Ausf. L and Ausf. M versions. It is not a model of a tank but a detail accessory that raises the fidelity of a finished build.
The long 50 mm KwK 39 gun with a barrel 60 calibers long replaced the shorter KwK 38 L/42 and markedly improved the armor-piercing performance of the Pz.Kpfw. III. Its hallmark is the slender, noticeably longer barrel, which on the late J, L and M versions sets the overall silhouette of the vehicle. These versions formed the backbone of the German tank units in 1942 and 1943.
Cut off the plastic barrel at the cradle, level the opening and fit the metal part dry first, so that the axis sits right. Degrease the metal before gluing and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Lay a base coat meant for metals onto the metal surface and only then the paint with an airbrush. It pays to leave the muzzle of the barrel clean and pick it out only with a gentle darkening during the weathering.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
