A detail set for the medium tank Pz. Kpfw. V Panther Ausf. D or Ausf. A in 1:35 from the Polish manufacturer Aber is an extensive photo-etched set for refining a plastic kit. It is not a model of a tank but an accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
A complete detail set for the overall refinement of a model of the German medium tank Pz. Kpfw. V Panther (Sd. Kfz. 171) in the Ausf. D and Ausf. A versions. Sets of this scope hold photo-etched metal parts for the fenders, the brackets and clasps for the tools, the covers and grilles of the engine compartment, the hatch hinges and other small fittings of the hull and the turret. It is an accessory for a plastic kit in 1:35 scale you have already bought, not a model of a vehicle in its own right.
The Panther was a German medium tank in action from 1943, which combined steeply sloped armor, a long 75 mm gun and fairly high mobility. The Ausf. D version was the first in production, and the Ausf. A brought a new commander's cupola and a machine gun port in the frontal armor of the hull. Both versions share most of the external fittings of the hull, so one detail set covers them together.
Work block by block according to the instructions: first remove the plastic originals and level the surfaces, and only then glue the metal on. Separate the photo-etched parts with a scalpel on a hard surface, make the bends in a bending tool and hold small pieces with tweezers. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) onto degreased surfaces. Spray the finished model with a primer, which evens out the absorbency of plastic and metal alike. The clasps and the tools then stand out after a dark wash.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. It is a detail accessory for a plastic kit, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
