A detail set for the medium tank Pz. Kpfw. V Panther Ausf. G in 1:35 from the Polish manufacturer Aber is an extensive photo-etched set for refining a plastic kit. It is an accessory, not a model of a tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
A complete detail set for the overall refinement of a model of the German medium tank Pz. Kpfw. V Panther (Sd. Kfz. 171) in the late production version Ausf. G. Sets of this scope hold photo-etched metal parts for the fenders, the brackets and clasps for the tools, the covers and grilles of the engine compartment, the hatch hinges and other small fittings of the hull and the turret. This is not a kit of a vehicle; it is an accessory that is fitted to a plastic model in 1:35 scale you have already bought.
The Panther Ausf. G was the most numerously produced version of the German medium tank PzKpfw V. Compared with earlier forms it had a simplified and reworked hull with a one-piece side plate without the cutout for the driver's vision port, a revised stowage for the tools and a number of details simplified for production. The 75 mm gun and the overall concept were kept. Late production pieces also differed in details of the exhausts and of the engine compartment covers.
Work block by block according to the instructions: first off with the plastic originals, level the surfaces, and only then glue the metal on. Separate the photo-etched parts with a scalpel on a hard surface, make the bends in a bending tool and hold small pieces with tweezers. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) onto degreased surfaces. Spray the whole model with a primer before painting. On late German schemes a dark wash in the joints and fine dust pigments on the running gear pay off.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. It is a detail accessory for a plastic kit, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
