Responsibility details are not available.
This is a demanding multimedia kit in resin and photo-etched parts in 1:35 scale from LZ models, intended for advanced modelers. The subject is the German two-axle OMMR flatbed railway wagon used by the Deutsche Reichsbahn in the Second World War. The kit combines a large number of resin parts with generous photo-etched parts and other material; it also contains decals. The assembled wagon is a rewarding basis for railway dioramas as well as for presenting a loaded military vehicle or a light tank.
OMMR flatbed wagons served in the Second World War for transporting tanks, vehicles and heavy material, above all to the Eastern Front. They could take a load on the order of tens of tons, which was enough for lighter tanks and trucks. A number of these wagons were used with the drop sides folded down or removed precisely in order to load machinery.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); bend the photo-etched parts on a bending tool and shape them with tweezers. Protect your airways while sanding. After the base primer, paint with an airbrush and bring out the wooden surfaces and the ironwork with glazes, washes and pigments; a patina of rust, dust and traces of cargo is ideal.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin multimedia kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
