Friulmodel metal tracks in 1:35 scale are a replacement set of individual white metal links matching the WE210 type with its double I pattern. The set is intended for the American medium tanks Lee and Grant and for the Canadian Ram. It is not a model but a detail accessory replacing the plastic or rubber tracks from the kit. The links are joined with metal pins into a fully workable run.
The American M3 medium tank served in two main versions - the Lee with the American turret and the Grant with the British one. The Canadian Ram tank was built on the same basis. All these vehicles could use the WE210 track with its characteristic rubber block, which the set captures faithfully.
First clean the flash off the individual links and fit them together. They are joined with metal pins made from the enclosed wire, which you cut to length, and the result is a genuinely workable run that follows the road wheels and the natural sag between them. Metal holds paint and pigments excellently, so we recommend painting and weathering the tracks before fitting them to the model. On a track with rubber blocks, a subtle difference in color between the metal and the rubber part helps.
This is a detail set of metal tracks, not a vehicle model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
