This accessory plastic set in 1:35 scale is NOT a stand-alone aircraft model but an extension set containing the wings and the rear fuselage, that is the tail section, of the Horsa assault glider. It serves as an accessory to a plastic model of the Horsa glider in the same scale - it makes it possible, for example, to create the effect of a separated or damaged structure, or to complete a diorama scene. The box holds plastic parts and decals.
The set extends the build of the basic Horsa glider model with separate flying surfaces and a rear fuselage. Modelers will use it to show the glider after landing, when the tail section and the wings were detached for quick unloading of the cargo, or for a diorama with a split fuselage. It is not intended for building a whole aircraft.
Cut the parts carefully from the sprues and clean them up. Use liquid modeling cement on the plastic joints. Apply a primer before painting; an airbrush makes it easier to match the shades to the basic model. For a faithful diorama, keep the weathering and the shading in line with the main build.
This is an accessory set, not a complete aircraft model. The basic model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
