The injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Dragon captures the German anti-tank gun of 2.8 cm caliber, the sPzB41, with the JF8 limber drawn by a horse team. The package contains plastic parts, figures and decals. It is a rewarding subject for a diorama rendering of artillery.
The sPzB41 was a light German anti-tank weapon with a tapered barrel in which the caliber narrowed toward the muzzle, which increased the muzzle velocity of the projectile. In the early part of the war it was also used with a horse team, to which the limber for transport belonged. The combination thus documents the artillery logistics of the period.
Glue the small parts of the gun and the harness of the team with liquid cement for plastic and work with good lighting and tweezers. Paint the figures and the horses separately from the hardware. The whole comes out well in a simple diorama, where subsequent washes and pigments will add a realistic patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
