Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American M-3 Scout Car wheeled armored scout car in 1:35 scale from Zvezda. This open armored vehicle on a 4x4 chassis is captured with its characteristic low armored hull and the roller on the front bumper for crossing obstacles. The actual contents of the particular boxing (decals, armament, any crew) are given in the instructions in the box.
The M-3 Scout Car was developed by the American firm White as a light wheeled armored vehicle with drive to all four wheels. It carried a driver and several soldiers in an open armored hull, mounted machine gun armament and a radio set. It was used for reconnaissance, communications, escort and for carrying commanders and reconnaissance parties. It was delivered in large numbers to the Allies under the Lend-Lease program, including the Soviet Union, where it served mainly with assault and reconnaissance parties of the Red Army.
An open hull means the interior is visible — paint the floor, the seats and the instrument panel before you close the hull up. Watch the alignment of the axles and the wheels. Bring the base olive (US) or green (Soviet) finish to life with shading, a gloss varnish under the decals and weathering with dark washes in the joints. Dust and mud pigments on the wheels and the lower areas give the vehicle a look of active service.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
