An injection-molded plastic kit of the American M46 Patton medium tank in 1:35 scale from Cyber-hobby, rounded out with a set of figures of American infantrymen from the period of the fighting for the Pusan Perimeter in 1950. The combination of tank and figures allows a small scene from the start of the Korean War to be built. The model matches the conventional level of a kit for modelers who have the basic techniques in hand.
The M46 Patton was an American medium tank of the end of the 1940s, created by a thorough modernization of the older M26 Pershing. It carried a gun of 90 mm caliber and a new engine and transmission system. The M46 belonged to the first generation of the Patton series of tanks and was committed in the Korean War, among other places in the fighting for the defensive perimeter around the port of Pusan in 1950.
Finish the running gear and the tracks before closing the hull. We recommend thin cement for plastic, a primer and an airbrush. The figures paint more easily away from the vehicle; a hand brush and fine shades suit the face and the kit. You will unify the whole scene with shared weathering using washes and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
