An injection-molded plastic kit of the American M60A3 main battle tank from the manufacturer AFV Club. The set makes it possible to build the M60A3 version or the M60A3 TTS with the thermal imaging sight (Tank Thermal Sight). It contains a newly shaped blast deflector, a warning light, a xenon searchlight, a wading trunk, tracks of the T-142 type and two kinds of road wheels (steel and aluminum).
The M60 was an American main battle tank of the Cold War, brought into service in the 1960s and modernized step by step. The M60A3 version brought an improved fire control system and, in the TTS form, a thermal imaging sight, which markedly improved its ability to fight in reduced visibility. The tank served for long decades with the American army and with a number of allies.
Assemble and paint the running gear and the tracks first, while they are easy to reach. With the T-142 tracks take care over the correct run and the sag. Bring out the Cold War schemes (plain green as well as the multicolor NATO camouflage) with dark washes into the engraved lines and with dust pigments on the running gear. Leave the searchlight and the accessories for the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
