Matho Models 1:35 Oak Foliage is a package of imitation oak leaves for building trees, bushes and fallen leaves on dioramas in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
Imitation oak leaves from the manufacturer Matho Models, a specialist in diorama materials and accessories. The leaves, in a size suitable for scenes in 1:35, will serve in building the crowns of trees and bushes, as undergrowth and as fallen leaves on the ground, on roofs or on equipment. It is precisely the vegetation that sets an average diorama apart from a living, believable scene, and the characteristically lobed oak leaf is omnipresent in the European landscape.
The material is intended for gluing onto the armatures of trees and bushes, for scattering over the terrain and for finishing the edges of tracks and ditches. On dioramas with military equipment it also works splendidly as natural camouflage greenery on hulls and turrets or as autumn fall around standing machines. A smaller amount of leaves can liven up even a vignette with a single figure.
Glue the leaves on with diluted PVA glue or with glue in a spray; apply them to the crowns of trees in small doses with tweezers so that the result looks airy. Fix fallen leaves only once they are placed, with a fine mist of diluted glue. The tone of color can be fine-tuned with diluted acrylic paints; a mixture of green, yellow and brown shades looks more natural than a uniform color.
A scenic material for a diorama; tree armatures, figures and glue are not included in the package.
