A premium injection-molded plastic kit of the German Panzerkampfwagen III medium tank in the Ausf.J version in 1:35 scale from Rye Field Model. The set offers a complete interior of the hull as well as the turret, individual link tracks, photo-etched parts and clear parts. It is a richly subdivided model for modelers who want to show the internal equipment of the vehicle as well.
The Pz.Kpfw.III was among the mainstays of the German armored forces in the early phases of the Second World War. The Ausf.J version was produced in 1941 and 1942 and was deployed among other places on the Eastern Front and in North Africa. The vehicle was marked by thicker frontal armor and was fitted with a 5 cm gun. The medium tanks of this series formed the backbone of the armored divisions until the Pz.Kpfw.IV gradually replaced them in service.
Build and paint the full interior as you go, section by section, so that the details stay accessible; only then close up the hull and the turret. Assemble and finish the running gear and the individual track links separately. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic, treat the surface with primer and lay the shades on with an airbrush. You will bring the interior to life with drybrushing and washes, and the outer armor with pigments for dust and mud effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
