An injection-molded plastic model of the German Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.H medium tank in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Dragon, in the mid-production execution. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted; for the exact contents of the package, go by the enclosed instructions.
The Ausf.H was the most numerously produced variant of the Panzer IV tank and represented its peak. Compared with the older Ausf.G it had thicker frontal armor made as a single plate, the long 75mm KwK 40 L/48 gun and, as standard, side protective plates (Schürzen) against shaped-charge ammunition. The tank formed the backbone of the German armored units on all fronts until the end of the war.
First finish the running gear and the underside of the hull. Glue the side Schürzen on only at the end, so that you can reach the running gear; they often survived damaged or missing, which can be depicted faithfully. Spray the base over a primer and lay the three-tone camouflages on with an airbrush. Washes will accentuate the rivets and the welds, and pigments and a dry brush will add mud and dust effects as well as scuffed metal on the tracks.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
