Random Digital 1:35 from the German brand Solid Scale is a set of self-adhesive painting masks for spraying an irregular digital, that is pixel, camouflage pattern.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a masking aid for spraying, not a model and not decals. The set holds a self-adhesive film with cut-out fields whose layout imitates the digital, so-called pixel camouflage used on modern military vehicles. In the Random variant the fields are laid out irregularly, so the pattern does not repeat in a regular grid and looks more natural. The scale of the set is 1:35.
Digital camouflage has its best effect when the edges of the fields are really sharp — so never apply the paint all at once and spray straight down at a right angle, not at an angle. On a multicolored pattern, work from the lightest shade to the darkest and leave enough time for drying between the coats. On intricate surfaces with rivets and brackets, cut the film into smaller pieces, as it then follows the shape better. Once finished, matte the model and only then weather it; a wash brings out the transitions between the fields.
Paints and an airbrush are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. Choose the particular combination of colors according to your subject.
