This injection-molded plastic kit captures the American light special vehicle RSOV armed with the MK 19 automatic grenade launcher. The model is meant to be glued together and painted. The package contains plastic parts and clear parts for the glazing; the exact contents may differ between individual releases.
The RSOV (Ranger Special Operations Vehicle) is a light vehicle derived from the Land Rover Defender chassis, used by the 75th Ranger Regiment of the United States Army. It serves as a fast support and reconnaissance vehicle for special operations; in the version of this kit it carries the 40 mm MK 19 automatic grenade launcher on a ring mount.
The open construction calls for careful work on the frame, the interior and the armament, which are all clearly visible. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic and glue the clear parts with canopy cement. Spray over a primer and apply washes and dust pigments to the equipment and the chassis.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
