Zvezda 1:35 K-4350 is a plastic kit of a two-axle military truck in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The kit captures a modern two-axle truck with all-wheel drive that serves to carry cargo and personnel and as a chassis for various bodies. It is an injection-molded plastic kit that has to be assembled and painted. Trucks are a rewarding subject: they can be built as a standalone model, as part of a convoy or as the basis of a diorama with cargo, a tarpaulin or support equipment. Please check the number of parts, the number of color schemes and the contents of the decal sheet against the enclosed instructions.
The real subject is a member of a modern family of military trucks with a conventional cab, the hood over the engine, and all-wheel drive. The two-axle version is the shortest and handiest variant of the line and is used above all where a smaller payload is needed but good mobility off road matters. In design it is a classic solution with a ladder frame, rigid axles and a diesel engine at the front; the great ground clearance and the coarse tire tread pattern match use away from hard roads. A characteristic feature is the flatbed body, which can be covered with a tarpaulin on folding hoops.
Assemble the frame and the chassis on a flat surface so that the finished model stands on all its wheels. Paint the cab and the interior before you close it up and fit the glazing. It is practical to leave the wheels aside and fit them after painting; the tires are then easier to distinguish from the rims. Apply a primer to the surface and spray in thin layers. On trucks, dust weathering from the wheels upward, fine chipping on the edges of the cab and a restrained dark wash into the gaps of the body all help markedly.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
