Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet three-ton ZIS-5 truck in 1:35 scale from Hobby Boss. The kit contains newly tooled parts, clear parts for the glazing and a photo-etched fret; the model faithfully captures the chassis, the cab and the cargo bed.
The ZIS-5 was a Soviet 4x2 truck built from the 1930s at the ZIS plant in Moscow. It became famous for its simple, durable construction and an undemanding engine that tolerated even low-quality fuel. In the Second World War it served as the universal supply and transport vehicle of the Red Army, and a simplified wartime version, the ZIS-5V, also came about. It was one of the most widespread Soviet trucks of its day.
Assemble and paint the chassis and the interior of the cab before you cover them. Spray the base with primer and the main color with an airbrush. Fill the cargo bed with a load, accentuate the planks and rivets with a wash and use pigments to create dust and mud on the chassis. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate and the plastic parts with liquid modeling cement.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
