A detail accessory, not a kit. The set contains fabric straps 2 mm wide of fine, laser-cut microweave. These are universal strips without buckles that serve for securing loads, tarpaulins, crates, jerrycans and other equipment realistically on military vehicles, trailers and in a diorama in 1:35 scale. The wider 2 mm variant suits places where a finer strap would look too slight.
The microweave behaves like real cloth, so the straps drape naturally, can be bent and hug the shape of a load faithfully. The material is waterproof and resistant to the ordinary preparations used in modeling, so it will take toning, filters and a patina without fraying. The straps replace stiff-looking plastic or paper strips and lend a scene credibility.
