DEF Model 1:35 T-34/85 D-5T turret conversion (late) is a resin turret conversion set for the Academy kit of the Soviet T-34/85 tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is NOT a complete tank model but a resin conversion set from the South Korean maker DEF Model in 1:35 scale. It allows the Academy kit of the Soviet T-34/85 tank (the Factory No. 112 version) to be rebuilt into the variant with the D-5T gun in its late form. The set contains a resin turret with the matching parts and a turned metal gun barrel; some editions also include a decal.
The turret replaces the plastic turret from the base kit and adds the more accurate shape and the cast detail typical of the early T-34/85 versions of 1944. The metal barrel sharpens the shape and makes it more resistant to damage. The conversion is intended for more experienced modelers.
Wash the remains of the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and the sprue gates and glue with cyanoacrylate. Check the fit against the hull from the base kit before mounting. Sand the resin with your airways protected.
